AE80 012

I knew it was time to change my absorbers after GRA last last week. So i begin to source for abs suitable for the AE80 before installing bars from Ctech that are due next week. After lots of researching, i found out that for the front, AE101 absorbers and springs are suitable but original top mount must be re-used. Whereas the rear, to use other abs and springs, the whole knuckle with disc brake must be swapped from a AE92 (hefty hefty cost). So I sourced brand new AE101 abs and springs for the front, and came up with a budgeted setup - Kayaba Ultra Gas Abs and APM performax sports springs.
Abs and springs
Full set being assembled
After installation, camber was adjusted to -1.5 degree for better cornering. Now i can take corners without front roll, soon to be settled will be the rear, hopefully lah!

Cost
Kayaba Abs - RM250 per pair
APM performax springs - RM250 for a set of 4
Top mount - RM140 per pair
Labour + Alignment - RM100
